Camera thefts at Warragul department store

Police are investigating the theft of sports cameras from a department store in Warragul.

Investigators have been told a male entered the store on Victoria Street at around 1.10pm on 21 June, 2017, and used a key to open a glass cabinet containing cameras valued at $1,100.

The man placed the cameras in a shopping bag and left the store while being chased by a staff member.

Police have recently obtained and released an image of a man they believe may be able to assist with their enquiries.

The offender is described as a Caucasian, 30-year-old male, of medium build, with short red hair, and glasses.

He was last seen wearing a black jacket, black pants and white runners.
