Teenagers stabbed in brawl 'involving up to 20 people'

Four teenagers were taken to hospital with stab wounds following a brawl in Sydney's west on June 28 2020.

Emergency services responded to reports of a brawl involving up to 20 males at 4.50pm.

It is believed the fight started at a Mediterranean restaurant then spilled out onto the street.

The group had fled by the time Auburn Police arrived on the scene.

Three teenage boys – a 15-year-old and two aged 14 – were found with stab wounds while a fourth had minor lacerations.

Specialist forensic officers wil examine crime scenes that have been set up in the area.

While the exact cause of the brawl remains unknown, police have ruled out links to youth gangs.
