Professional Misconduct

Paul Brady

Address: WA, Australia
Sex: Male
Occupation: Psychologist
Date: 23 July 2012

The State Administrative Tribunal convicted Paul Brady of professional misconduct.

On 27 July 2011 Brady sent correspondence to a court which was addressed to a Magistrate and a Judge of that Court and contained threats towards those judicial officers.

Whilst Brady was subject to investigation by the Psychology Board of Australia in relation to the correspondence, Brady denied to the Board that he was the author of that correspondence. Brady had previously admitted to police that he was the author of the correspondence.

After subsequently admitting to the Board that he was the author of the correspondence, Brady then falsely asserted to the Board that he had denied authoring that correspondence on the basis of the receipt of legal advice.

Brady was disqualified from applying for reregistration as a psychologist for 2 years.
